Man dies in single-vehicle crash – Minto

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash at Minto last night.

Just after 11pm (Sunday 6 September 2015), a 33-year-old man was driving a Hyundai Excel along Eagleview Road in a north westerly direction.

Police have been told at a roundabout, the vehicle left the road, travelled onto a grass area, before hitting a telegraph pole.

Emergency services were called; however the driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

No one else was injured during the incident.

Officers attached to Macquarie Fields Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

As police investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, they are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
