Pedestrian killed by a car in Swan Reach

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision which occurred in Swan Reach yesterday.

Bairnsdale police members have been told two Swan Reach men were walking east on School Road around 6.15pm, when they was struck by an east bound car.

A 36-year-old man was airlifted to The Alfred hospital but died overnight.

A 45-year-old man with serious injuries was airlifted to The Alfred hospital.

The driver, a 34-year-old man from Metung, is assisting police with their enquiries.
