Two men charged over alleged break and enter – Fairfield

Police have charged two men following an alleged break and enter in Sydney’s west yesterday.

Shortly before 3am yesterday (Wednesday 30 March 2016), two men allegedly broke into a service station on The Boulevard, Fairfield Heights.

Initial inquiries suggest the two men, aged 20 and 23, went to the storeroom where they placed a large number of items into pillow cases.

Officers attached to Fairfield Local Area Command were contacted and commenced investigations.

About 6.45pm police attended a 20-year-old man’s unit on The Boulevard, Fairfield Heights. Several items believed to be stolen from the service station were located.

Just before 9pm, officers attended the 23-year-old man’s unit on The Boulevard, Fairfield Heights and located further items believed to be stolen.

All items were seized and will undergo forensic examination.

The two men were arrested and taken to Fairfield Police Station where they were charged aggravated break and enter in company.

The 20-year-old man was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today (Thursday 31 March 2016).

The 23-year-old man is still assisting with inquiries.
